Caroline Issa's for L.K Bennett

Caroline Issa's news stride in fashion:

Caroline Issa's takes a new direction in her fashion stride. You do not have to search too deep when it comes to Caroline Issa on the fashion sphere, she's one of the fashions industries most watched and photographed icon. Known as the fashion guru of street-style, she has clearly made her impact on fashion after she changed her finance path for a creative field earlier in her life.

Being exective fashion director of Tank Magazine was not enough for Caroline Issa's passion, she is also the editor-in-cheif of Because Magazine (a digital magazine), and fashion director of the Tank Form consulting agency, she clearly doesn't enjoy time off. During London's Fashion Week she launched her recent collaboration with L.K.Bennett, creating fun and vibrant designs on classic peep-toe boots, sandals, loafers and handbags.

The Canadian born, London based magazine editor is often known for wearing feminine draped tailoring and structure, finished with a unique pump or perky loafer. So it came to no surprise that she is also dipping her talents into designing with British company L.K.Bennett this spring. The designs are energetic and detailed with thread embroidery on both footwear and handbags. Her collection features bright trimmings, floral embroidery and pom-poms, all what you could expect from a stylish jet-setter like Isa.

“I think a killer shoe has the same ingredients as investment jewelry,” says Issa who declares that she likes to style a look from the ground up. “It’s a pop of color, extra sparkle, or surprising detail that will transcend seasons. Shoes are the cherry on top.”

SKarman's Favourite:

I am a big fan of flats. They are comfortable, practical and when they have an adding spark of personality I love them even more. So from Caroline Issa's L.K.Bennett collection, my choice would have to be the beige loafers, perfect for those spring days and easily taking you into easy summer styling. Perfect for everyday casual outfits, adding a whole splash of fun. With flats also being big this S/S13 season, there's always room for a few more loafers, pumps and brogues. LOVE!-

Beyonce- March Vogue USA Cover

Vogue USA 's March Issue Cover Girl:
Beyonce Knowles

Definition of Power: 'The ability to do something or act in a particular way, esp. as a faculty or quality.'

Vogue USA has casted Beyonce as their cover girl for March 'Power' issue, who else extracts strength and control than the diva herself. The month have February has really been Beyonce's month, after her questionable live performance for the US Presidential Inauguration, her fierce half-time Super Bowl come back presentation, the spectacular news of her new 'Mrs Carter' tour and last nights Grammy's win. The year has not even got started and Beyonce is all we can talk about.

After taking a break away from her famous lifestyle, its only expected that this is the response she has received from the world. In this months Vogue USA she tells the world more about the birth of her baby daughter Blue Ivy and future plans for work and personal. The wife of Hip Hop mogul Jay Z, she explains in her interview how she wants to give her daughter a normal upbringing, 'It’s very important to me that my daughter is able to experience life and run through the sprinklers'.

The shoot shows Beyonce in a softer, relaxed way embracing her iconic curves in leather, silky lingerie and body-con dresses. Shot by Patrick Demarchelier, he brings out the classic natural beauty that Beyonce effortlessly embodies. From the very beginning before viewing the shoot, I knew that it would hold memorable images that the world could always treasure of Beyonce.

In the shoot in many shots there is an essencce of spanish sultry that shines through, as Beyonce is dressed in rich tones of red with large floral detailing. This is her second cover shoot with Vogue magazine, and probably the first of many magazines that would want a slice of Beyonce this year.

Beyonce is set to surprise the world once again on Febrauary 16th with her documentary 'Life is but a dream' debuting on HBO. This documentary is set to show you the true story behind Beyonce, that has not yet been told. A unique experience that allows you into the personal space of Beyonce's world, with much of the recoding captured by the lady herself. In the Vogue interview Beyonce states thats she has found the filmmaking process therapeutic, saying that 'This movie has healed me in so many ways'.

Beyonce Knowles is a woman of the music industry that has found and created her place of success. Its hard to fault someone that is in the world of fame, yet still wants to lead a normal life, that tries to stay away from media hypes and rather be grounded as normal human being. She loves what she does...and speaking on behalf of a whole lot of fans...we love what you do!-

The Grammy's 2013

The Grammy's 2013:

The Red-Carpet Fashion Looks revealed:

The first Grammy's took place on May 4th, 1959 it was put together to honor musical accomplishments by performers from the year before. This year marked the 55th Grammy Awards which took place in Los Angeles, California at the Staple Centre.

Last night February 10th, the red-carpet at the Staple Centre was flooded with music finest artists, dressed at their best anticipating the biggest night of the year. The night is filled with artist from the industry performing and appreciate music and showing their love to musicians that have made a huge impact on the entire industry.

Last years Grammy's was left on a low note as it was discovered that pop artist Whitney Houston had passed away in the early morning of the event. Immediately the 2012 awards production was rearranged to honor Whitney Houston and the amazing music, effect that she has created on the industry.

Every year at any awards show, before the ceremony has even began there is only one thing that everyone is out to see and that is... who wore what and by who? Designers take awards ceremony as a chance of free advertising and publicity for their brand, it is a chance to introduce their fashion style to a whole new audience and to elevate the unique style of the musical artist.

This years attendees were issued a wardrobe advisory, this was an attempt to reduce the amount of scandalous and inappropriate outfits to walk the red carpet. But the new fashion rules, did not stop many of the stars from twisting or shall we say breaking the rules for their evening attire.

FASHION LOW-DOWN:

Adele & Beyonce Knowles Carter:
British home-grown star Adele  embraced colour this year as she opted for a Valentino Couture gown covered in embroidered flowers. The ultimate diva Beyonce changed up her classic red carpet look, by not doing the expected floor length ball gown, instead she showed true power in Osman Yousefzada, flaunting this season trend of black & white in absolute poise.

Florence Welch & Kelly Rolland:
Both these musical stars took major fashion risks. British artist Florence Welch who has recently exploded on the music scene, wore custom made Givenchy to last nights awards. I am a big fan of Givenchy, but this creation was nothing but a dinosaur costume in the form of a gown. The all sequined green dress, had spike detailing and soft slit up the leg, definitely a fashion tragedy.
One third of Destinys Child Kelly Rolland looked flawless in this Georges Chakra black graphic cut-out halter neck dress. The dress complicated her amazing body, she looked effortlessly put together... very much a one of my favourites of the night.

Carrie Underwood & Taylor Swift:
Both these female artists are country musics finest and newest. Carrie Underwood American Idol winner dazzled in Roberto Cavalli at the Grammys, she also won Best Country Solo Performance for her song 'Blown Away'. Taylor Swift performed on the night in a quirky Alice in Wonderland inspired costume, but for the red carpet she kept it elegant in J.Mendel goddess gown. Even country girls have style!

Jennifer Lopez & Katy Perry:
Latina superstar Jennifer Lopez took a risky choice for her outfit this year as she wore Anthony Vaccarello astmmetric, leg baring black draped dress. She is known for her scandalous choices for the grammys, but yet again I think she has chosen to ignore the memo for this years wardrobe advisory. Katy Perry is another artist that has hit the naughty list on disobey the dress code, for the musical awards. Even though she oozed sexy in every inch of her body, her skin tight lime green by Gucci look was said to be inspired by Pricillia Preseley.

Rihanna &Alicia Keys:
Both musical superstars signed to Jay Z label 'ROC Nation', wore Azzedine Alaia. Rihanna rocked a whole new softer look that we are not used to seeing on her. She is normal known to pushing the barriers of sexy to a whole new level of bad girl, but this year she looked fresh faced, sophisticated and absolutely stunning in custom made Azzedine Alaia. The pop of colour was the perfect shade against her rich tanned skin, complementing her wavy hair. Alicia Keys looked glamourous in Azzedine Alaia fish-tail gown, showing some skin in a mid-drift crocodile crop-top.

For me when fashion and music are combined you know that your in for a very interesting concoction, with added style and extra fierce!-
